Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone launched in India by A.R.Rahaman

NOKIA launched its latest Nokia 5800 xpress music phone in India in chennai on jan 8 2009 by the music maestro AR rahaman.The phone is widely regarded as the next iphone killer from Nokia.Nokia offers one year  unlimited access to its Nokia Music Store catalogue. And the Indian Versions will come preloaded with A.R. Rahmans album “Connections” which  has 9 tracks which are a mix of Indian and International music. Each track has been composed in collaboration with famous different personalities like Sivamani, singer Blaaze, etc. To name a few tracks are ‘Jiya se Jiya’, ‘Kural’, ‘Mylapore Blues’ and ‘Mosquito’.

.The phone is priced at Rs 21,800 which is nearly  Rs 9,000 less than 8GB iPhone and Rs 14,000 less than 16 GB iPhone

Nokia's touch phone comes with 81MB internal memory, 8GB microSD memory card, capable of storing approximately 6,000 songs.
