Wikia answers the new answers portal from wikipedia was launched yesterday by the founder of wikipedia Jimmy Wales.So what's new and special here.The website is of opensource unlike other answer sites like yahoo answers,wikianswers,ibibo sawaal etc.which means that there will not be any ads or some promoting material on the site.This also means that the site is well utilised and protected from spamming.
The content is freely licensed under GFDL unlike other answers sites allowing it to be re-used and re-purposed by others for free
