TriBook is a new apple concept which will raise the level of technology to its apex. This concept contains MacBook with three screens in one with a trackpad equal to the size of the keyboard. The concept uses the aluminum hardware of Apple’s new laser-cut “brick” technology to provide rigidity and strength to the attached displays screens of the 21-inch TriBook. The Tribook will facilitate with an 8x SuperDrive, a few I/O connectors, a high-quality hard drive, a "Kickass hard drive" and a CPU similarly to the apple is of course just a concept, but one can easily see its benefits.MacBook. An unfolded TriBook measures at 6.75 x 10 inches, and it is about 1 inch thick.

The Tribook looks like a simple apple MacBook when it is in its folded state. TriBook is much suitable for Gamer freak who want to add screen after screen to their PC for the ultimate gaming experience. Still ,it is just a concept but it would be realistic soon.

UMID KOREAN COMPANY RELEASED 4.8 " TOUCH SCREEN LAPTOP

UMID a korean company that produces mobiles and notebooks unveiled its mobile internet device during GMV 2008 in Korea market, which adopts a 4.8(near to the size of iphone)-inch touch screen with 1024 * 600 resolution.I am still in confusion we can call it as a notebook.

APPLE MACBOOK WHEEL (LAPTOP WITHOUT KEYBOARD)

Apple yet again introuduced a revolutionary design.This time laptop without a keyboard.In the new Macbook wheel.the normal keyboard is replaced by a very sleek touch sensitive wheel.This makes typing a few clicks away!.The revolutionary design is going to change how we thought of a computer.

The wheel looks like a wheel in a ipod and may function same like that.Any way lets hope this new concept will become successful and typing becomes possible by 2 fingers.:P

HP unviels mini laptop notebook

HP has introduced the Mini 2140, an updated Mini-Note 2133 version, with a 10.1-inch LED backlit screen. Priced at $500 (Rs. 24,000 approx.), Mini 2140 will be showcased at the CES 2009 and will be available later this month. It might take a while for it to hit the Indian markets.

Apple's aluminum unibody manufacturing technology seems to have inspired a lot of other notebook makers. HP Mini 2140 is identical to the Mini-Note 2133, has an all aluminum casing, and weighs 2.6 pounds. The Mini 2140 notebook features a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor unlike the Mini-Note 2133, which features a 1.2GHz Via C7-M processor. Also, the netbook has a scratch resistant 10.1-inch HP Illumi-Lite LED backlight screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio offering standard definition (1024x576) or high definition (1366x768) pixel resolutions.

The Mini 2140 offers storage options of a 160GB HDD or a 80GB SSD. It features the HP 3D DriveGuard software and a three-axis digital accelerometer chip that shuts down the PC if the computer undergoes a sudden shock. It also offers the user a choice of operating systems, the Windows Vista, SuSE Linux, or FreeDOS. For a lightweight configuration, the netbook packs in a three-cell battery and for operations requiring a longer battery life a six-cell battery option is available. Other specifications include WLAN, Bluetooth 2.0, and a VGA webcam. The Mini 2140 has a full ExpressCard/54 slot unlike Lenovo S10's small ExpressCard/34 slot.

Currently priced at $500 (Rs. 24,000 approx.), the price might shoot up a bit when it reaches the Indian markets, Mini 2140 is expected later this month.
